Foldable multi-document
single-file to-do list.

What is this?

The blue-tec Stapler is a small application which blends certain aspects of classic notepads, outliners and check lists. You can think of it as a foldable multi-document single-file to-do list.

A … what?!?

It's hard to describe, really.

Filling gaps

Ever had to create a to-do list, but couldn't come up with catchy one-liners? Ever tried to collect multiple notes, but didn't care for that "page flipping" metaphor? Ever wished you could simply tick off paragraphs, or even whole documents? Don't care about due dates, categories and priorities?

A hybrid

Stapler is a crossbreed app: A mix of genres, built to provide a simple, yet effective way to collect and manage thoughts and ideas. You could call it a brainstorming aid. Or a next-generation notepad. It may not fit into any category, but it may well suit your needs.

Notepad: stacked

The blue-tec Stapler's main utility is to quickly jot down multiple notes. But you don't flip through multiple pages one by one. Instead, you create piles (or stacks) of notes (or items) — on top of each other.

Outliner: lite

Items can be collapsed, so they only show the first line of their content. Items can also be rearranged by simple drag'n'drop.

To-Do List: sort of

Each item features a checkbox labelled "done". You can tick it off to mark an item as… uhm… done. It will change its color, too.

Rich Text: for real

You can write in full OS X beauty: multiple fonts, colors, styles, even include pictures. And being a fully native Cocoa application, the blue-tec Stapler benefits from the awsome power of OS X' text system (incl. spell checking, auto-completion, dictionary look-up).
